About

Mecca Wood Green was the recipient of a £600,000 refurbishment before re-opening its doors in 2012.  The new look club is spacious with room for almost 1000 members and adds to the typical bingo auditorium with a brand new social lounge which has 2 bars, a cook to order service, a giant screen which shows live sports events, and 87 arcade machines some of which are capable of paying out £500 jackpots! Other facilities include a dedicated smoking area, disabled access, and 110 tablets which can be used to play Mecca Max.

Parking is available for nearly 200 cars plus there is good service by public transport with bus routes 144, 243 and W3 stopping just across the road. The Wood Green tube station is also less than a couple of minutes walk from the club, which is on the Piccadilly line.

Nothing anymore.
The club is poor. There are the same winners and I've seen more action in a cemetery! I've been going here for many years and have never won the national or anything big. I'll spend and leave with nothing every time, it feels like they are fixing everything! The staff are okay and I've been trying to find somewhere different to play. I prefer Cricklewood, more value for your money and not the same winners every game. I'm absolutely bored, don't waste your money.

The manager and her staff are always friendly and bouncy. They make bingo look and feel fun.
It's not as organised as well as it could be. Special offers are not always understood by players.

The club provides a wonderful, friendly and engaging atmosphere. There is a great selection of hearty snacks too! The chips in particular are always fluffy and wholesome with a crunchy exterior. The staff are also always welcoming and courteous. Lastly, it's also great to be able to order food, snacks and drinks to your table through the app.
It can be a little on the cold side, this is due to it being a very large hall with numerous entrances.

Not a lot.
Can you explain why Wood Green keeps changing the price of the books on a Saturday afternoon from, £21/£31 to £41? The prize money is not very good for the cost!
