Ruby Bingo

Ruby Bingo has recently closed their doors. We recommend you play at the following sister sites:

William Hill Bingo, Ladbrokes Bingo, Gala Bingo and Sun Bingo.

Owned and operated by William Hill, Ruby Bingo is the company’s lady in red, bespoke bingo brand. But how does it stack up compared to the parent company? Read on and find out our verdict!

Bonus Codes

There are no set promotion codes outlined on the Ruby Bingo website, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any that players can make use of. Ensure you sign up to receive communications, whether by SMS or Email when you register as this is the most common method they use to dish out freebies.

Mobile App

Unfortunately, William Hill has failed to bring their flagship bingo brand into the 21st century as there is no mobile bingo app for Ruby Bingo. In fact, if you head over to the official rubybingo.com website from your smartphone or tablet, you will see the standard desktop version of the site.

It’s still perfectly possible to register, login and play from your mobile phone, however, the experience is, for lack of a better word, lacking.

Bingo and Slots Games

There’s bingo galore to take advantage of at Ruby, with a huge selection of different game types to choose from. Whether you prefer the traditional 90 ball and 75 ball versions of the game or are after something a bit different like 80 ball and 40 ball bingo, you’ll find a room to suit you here.

There’s even a special themed bingo room based on the Rainbow Riches slot, offering a new way to play bingo in a 40 ball game. Bingo tickets start from as little as 1p and there are regular BOGOF ticket offers running in certain bingo rooms.

All of these great features are thanks to the company’s use of industry-leading Virtue Fusion bingo software. This is the same software that is used by industry heavyweights such as Winner and Bgo, so you can rest assured the gaming experience will be top notch.

If you fancy a spin on the slots you’ll find yourself spoilt for choice with the offerings at Ruby Bingo. There are plenty of great slots and side games on offer here from a number of the top providers in the industry. Whether you’re after a penny slot, fruity or exciting video slot packed with bonus rounds, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for here.

Bingo Mum's Verdict

After reading our review of Ruby Bingo, I think you can tell that we think William Hill has dropped the ball on this one. In fact, Will Hill is probably one of the best bingo sites in the UK right now and it’s clear the company’s focus has been on that. Sadly this had lead to them neglecting this site.

There are some positive reasons to play here, however. First of all, the site uses one of our favourite bingo software providers, Virtue Fusion. Part of being on the Virtue Fusion network is access to a huge variety of bingo games, many of which pay out great and provide some pretty phenomenal value. For that reason, if you are looking for a new Virtue Fusion site with a welcome bonus, Ruby will definitely be worth a punt.

Obviously, the drawbacks of having no mobile app, lack of free bingo games and new promotions will stop this site being your main port of call. Plus the design looks a bit dated and really needs to be improved on.

Please note, Ruby Bingo has now closed and as such we cannot provide an endorsement rating. We have left this review up for historical purposes.
