There is a stop appropriately named Opera Bingo opposite the venue. This is served by Stagecoach routes 29, 29A and 30 along the coast between Whitehaven, Workington, Maryport and the surrounding villages. A short 3–5-minute walk away on Duke Street (Stands A and B), you will also find most of the main town services, including routes such as 1, 2, 3, 3A, 22, 30 and 300, giving simple links from Kells, Mirehouse, Egremont, West Cumberland Hospital, Workington, Maryport and Carlisle into the centre.

How close is the train station to Opera Bingo Whitehaven?

Whitehaven railway station on the Cumbrian Coast Line is within easy walking distance, roughly a 5–8-minute walk from the club. Northern services run here between Carlisle, Whitehaven, Workington, Barrow and coastal villages. From the station, follow the signs towards the town centre, head down towards Tangier Street, and you will find Opera Bingo close to the harbour side, next to The Gaiety Cinema.

Afternoon prices are set at £10 for paper books, £2 for the Opera Bingo Flyer, and £15 – £30 for the Bingo Bees.

Evening paper bingo is £15 throughout the week, with Bees costing £15 – £35 depending on which of the four packages you choose.

Opera Bingo Whitehaven is located in the centre of town on Tangier Street, next to The Gaiety Cinema. Finding a place to park shouldn’t be an issue, as public car parks are situated at the front and rear of the venue. If you use the bus, the closest stops are Tangier Street, which serves the 1, 29, and 30, or Duke Street, where most of the major bus routes in the area stop at either Stand A or Stand B.
