About

Mecca Bingo Exeter is a large club that can seat over 1,000. It features plenty of electronic bingo terminals, also known as Mecca Max, and an arcade area full of fruit machines. In addition, great-value food and drink are always available from the bar and diner. Disabled guests are well accommodated, with accessible facilities including seating, hearing loops, and a chair lift.

The friendly club welcomes new and old players to try and win one of the hundreds of prizes given away every week. Plus, there is always a variety of offers, such as daily and monthly specials, bonuses, promotions, and giveaways.

The venue is near the Guildhall shopping centre and was formerly a cinema called the Gaumont Palace. It originally opened in the 1930s and was later converted into a bingo hall in the 1960s. Since then, it has been listed as a protected building, and many of the classic features, such as the ceiling dome, remain today.

FAQ

Mecca Bingo Exeter is housed in what was once a city cinema, so you’ll notice high ceilings, a central dome and plenty of original touches from its theatre days. It is not your typical modern bingo hall, as the venue still feels grand and full of character. If you like places with a bit of local history, this is a great choice.
