What Is Rainbow Riches Bingo?
Rainbow Riches Bingo is based around one of the most popular slots of all time. The design team have done a good job of incorporating the Irish theme into the bingo room and you will see many of the iconic icons and features including the Lucky O’Leary the leprechaun, pots of gold, the wishing well and the road to riches! The game can be found on Virtue Fusion/Playtech-powered sites.
In terms of the gameplay, this is a fast-paced 40-ball room where your numbers are grouped around four-leafed clovers. Two main prizes are up for grabs in each game and there are also two bonus features, The Rainbow Jackpot and The Wishing Well that add to the excitement.
How To Play
Each ticket has 8 numbers that are placed around two four-leaf clovers. When the game starts, numbers will appear on the Ferris Wheel. The first prize is awarded to the first player to mark off four numbers from one clover. The second larger prize is for being the first to mark off all eight numbers from both clovers.
Tickets range from 2p to 20p each with the exact price varying throughout the day. Obviously the more tickets you have the higher your chance of winning, plus it is worth mentioning that you will need to purchase a minimum of 5 tickets in order to choose a ‘lucky number’ which is tied to one of the bonus features. If you forget to choose a lucky number one will be assigned automatically to you.
Sometimes the room runs special 1TG games which are indicated by a yellow circular icon with blue 1TG text. Essentially, if this is active and you have any tickets that are 1TG when the house prize is called you will earn a special prize.
Jackpots and Bonus Features
Rainbow Road Jackpot
This is a community jackpot with three different prizes (Bronze, Silver and Gold). Above your tickets, you will notice a rainbow road numbered one to fifty. You will also see Lucky O’Leary the leprechaun above one of these numbers.
The concept is simple. During regular gameplay up to two clovers can be called along with the normal numbers. At the end of the game, Lucky O’Leary will then move up to two steps along the road, based on the number of clovers that appeared during the game.
If he lands directly on a Bronze (10th step), Silver (25th step) or Gold jackpot (50th step), the full amount will be paid out and shared proportionally to all players that had a ticket to the winning game. If he goes past a prize, only 50% will be paid out and the remaining 50% will be rolled over into the next prize pot(s).
The prize amounts are as follows:
- Bronze Jackpot – £50
- Silver Jackpot – £150
- Gold Jackpot – £300
Wishing Well
The Wishing Well is a feature prize that can be won when you collect 40 gold coins. If you purchase a minimum of 5 tickets you will be able to select a Magic Number. If this number is called during the bingo game a gold coin will be added to your Wishing Well. Once you reach 40 coins you will be granted a £5 prize.
