What is Snakes and Ladders Bingo?
Snakes and Ladders Bingo is an exclusive 90-ball game that can only be found at Mecca Bingo. The game plays as your usual 90-ball game for three prizes, but it is the post-game feature that differentiates this room from others as it gives players that just fell short of winning a cash prize!
This feature resembles the traditional Snakes and Ladders board game and involves cash prizes on squares of the board up to a maximum of £500! Ladders can help you win a larger prize but beware of the snakes as they will have you sliding back down the board and further away from the jackpot.
As if that wasn’t exciting enough, there is also a progressive jackpot called Super Snakes that starts at £1,000 and is exclusive to this room.
How To Play
This room follows the traditional 90-ball format. Each ticket is made up of 3 rows and 9 columns, with 5 numbers in each for a total of 15 numbers. Prizes are awarded for 1-line, 2-lines and then a full house.
Once the full house is won, any players that had 1TG on at least one ticket will get to play on the Snakes and Ladders bonus board for a cash prize.
Tickets start from 3p each, although it seems that you have to buy at least 6 tickets per game, therefore a total of 18p. The room is open from 10 am until 1 am daily so there are plenty of chances to win.
There is also a variant of this game called Mecca Ton to look out for. Tickets cost more for these games, but the prize money increases to a guaranteed £100!
Jackpots and Bonus Features
Snakes and Ladders Bonus Feature
As previously mentioned, this can be triggered by players who finish the game with at least one ticket on 1TG! If you happen to win the full house prize and also have another ticket with 1TG you will also gain access to this bonus.
If you qualify, the bonus game will pop up and you will see a Snakes and Ladders board with 25 numbered squares. These squares have prizes scattered all over, with the largest being right at the top of the board, number 25 which is worth £500.
A dice will then roll automatically 3x, moving your counter. If you land on a ladder you will get a boost up the board and be that much closer to the £500 jackpot. If you land on a snake though, you will tumble back down the board and find yourself further away from the best prize.
Super Snakes Progressive
This is a progressive community jackpot that is exclusive to this room. The jackpot starts at £1,000 and slowly increases by 1% of all tickets sold.
The pot can be won if a player calls the full house within 38 numbers. Once triggered, 50% goes to the player(s) that called the full house, with the remaining 50% being shared amongst all other players that had a ticket for the winning game.
