About

Rio Bingo Wisbech is situated on Blackfriars Road, right in the heart of town. Although parking is limited directly outside the club, the Horsefair Shopping Centre car park is only a five-minute walk away. Recent rates offer up to 3 hours of free parking, 4 hours for just 50p, and all day for £2, though it’s wise to double-check the latest charges before you park. The main bus routes also serve the shopping centre, making the venue easily accessible whether you’re driving or taking public transport.

The venue previously traded as Winners Bingo, which closed suddenly in July 2025. It was relaunched later the same year, reopening under the Rio Bingo brand with a fresh look, new sessions, and an updated game timetable.

Membership is still free. You can arrive on the day and join at reception on your first visit, then enjoy bingo in a fun and friendly environment on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoons, and every evening of the week.

Arriving on a morning when the club opens at 10:30 or 11 am allows you to enjoy free tea and coffee until midday, giving you time to relax before the main games begin. During your visit, the bar and diner offer a variety of delicious, affordable snacks and drinks, ensuring you’re always close to something to eat or drink whenever you want.

The bingo is now run as a paper-only club, supported by a programme of linked games with other venues. The National Link game offers jackpots that can reach up to £50,000, while other regular link-ups typically pay out prize pots in the mid-hundreds.

If you have any questions about times, prices, special deals, or anything else, you can contact the friendly team by phone at the number listed above or check their latest updates on Facebook.

FAQ

Winners Bingo Wisbech operated as a popular bingo hall on Blackfriars Road for many years before closing suddenly in July 2025. Shortly after, new operators took over, revitalising the venue and relaunching it as Rio Bingo Wisbech at the end of November 2025. The club reopened with a fresh brand, new session times, and an updated programme of games.

I went to bingo today at 12:25 PM but could not go into the club to play, there was no seat downstairs, plenty was upstairs but my husband can't use the stairs. But I have given Daniel the benefit of the doubt as he tried to get us downstairs. Thank you, Daniel.
I dislike the Winners don't have a stair chair put in to accommodate the disabled.
