About
Opera Bingo St Helen’s makes it home in an old cinema that dates back to 1903. The venue has been called the Hippodrome since the 1930s and is also known as Opera Bingo Hippodrome today. The club’s location on Corporation Street, just outside the town centre, makes it easy to get to, no matter how you travel. More than 15 bus services stop outside the entrance, and the train station is just minutes away. If you drive, you can use a public car park adjacent to the venue. Unfortunately, it is paid and displayed during the day; however, you can park for free after 7 pm.
Membership is free, and once inside, you will find an excellent choice of paper and electronic bingo games. Several promotions, including free games, often complement the action and discounted tickets and special jackpots. They even have odd giveaways from time to time. Up-to-date details on the current offers can be found on the club’s Facebook page. If you are not on Facebook, call the team or look out for the flyers that advertise the promos inside the hall.
Other on-site amenities include two licensed bars serving a good selection of drinks and hot and cold snacks, disabled access and a smoking area. There are also many fruit machines you can spin on for a chance to win some fantastic instant cash prizes.
