What Is Emmerdale Bingo?
Emmerdale Bingo is a 90-ball bingo game themed around one of the nation’s favourite soaps. The team have done an excellent job when it comes to the design of this room, with a backdrop of the Yorkshire Dales and custom calls in a Yorkshire accent that immerses you in the action. The game can be found at Entain bingo sites, otherwise known as LC International.
The game also offers two extra bonus features that not only add to the fun and excitement but also provide extra ways of winning a prize. These are called the Emmerdale Trail Jackpot and Country Miles Collection and are covered in more detail below.
How To Play
You won’t be able to find Emmerdale Bingo through the search bar. Instead, you will need to visit the TV Specials room which is open from 10 am until 2 am daily.
This room rotates through different games throughout the day which means that Emmerdale Bingo will only be available at certain times. If Emmerdale isn’t the current game when you enter the room, you can click on the pre-buy tickets button to find out when the next game starts. You usually don’t have to wait long as rooms tend to rotate every 15-20 minutes.
When you are in the lobby you will be able to purchase your tickets. These typically range from 5-15p each and you can buy up to 48 per game.
Once underway, the game plays much like any other traditional 90-ball game, with players earning prizes for being the first to complete 1-line, 2-lines and then a full house. The bonus features will then come into play at the end of the game.
Jackpots and Bonus Features
Emmerdale Trail Jackpot
Above your bingo tickets, you will notice a car on a road with a number above it. This number correlates to the bingo numbers and ranges from 1-90.
You will also notice a signpost on the right side of the road that shows the name and number of the next destination that features a jackpot. The jackpot locations are as follows:
- The Woolpack – Location 20
- Cafe Main Street – Location 40
- The Grange B&B – Location 60
- The Vets – Location 80
- Dingle’s Garage – Location 90
At the end of the game, the car will move down the trail, with the exact distance determined by the final call of the game. For example, if the final call is 74, the car will move 74 numbers up the trail.
If the car stops at the exact number of a location, the fixed jackpot is won. If the car stops at Dingle’s Garage, the player(s) that called full house will receive the prize. If the car stops at any other location, the prize is shared amongst the community based on ticket stakes.
When the car reaches the end of the trail, it starts back at number one and keeps on going in a loop.
Country Miles Collection
This feature also uses the car on the road. To the left of the car, you will see a mileometer labelled Country Miles. When you first play the game this will start at 00.00. Every time the car drives along the road each number will count as 0.011 of a mile. So, for example, if the car moved 74 spaces at the end of the game, your Country Miles would increase by 0.81.
When your car has travelled 50 miles, you will be credited with a £2.50 bonus.
Admittedly, this will take quite some time to reach. However, this mileage does not have to be completed in a single sitting. The game will remember your mileage every time you play, allowing you to build it up as you play.
